WHAT’S IT ABOUT THEN?

A seasonal batch of episodes on this latest Jay Jay DVD release from Roadshow, Season to Share is all about the excitable little aeroplane and his friends discovering that to share is better than receiving.

Jay Jay is quite an unusual show, mixing computer style animation with live action characters, very American in feel and content, Season To Share focuses on Thanksgiving and Christmas time with the planes getting excited with Jay Jay unable to decide what he wants on his Christmas present wish list but instead having to help Santa Claus deliver his presents.

Jay Jay (which was originally developed for PBS in the states) has a genuine heart and focuses heavily on life lessons and educational aspects (albeit in that slightly overdosed on saccharine way that  American TV seems to favour.

Jay Jay has one of those theme tunes that gets stuck in your head and it definitely is an interesting show that focuses on the positive aspects of the modern world which is quite a rarity with US kids shows. The characters of the planes are cute too, a good mix of ages and the different experiences that goes with that to draw upon.

Any Special Features?

There are six special "Think about it" segements included.
