SO
IS IT ANY GOOD?
It's a
good story about a couple going through a crisis of sexual identity and
their feelings and attitudes towards each other. On the periphery
of the main story are Dave's two friends:- the aforementioned Jake, and
a photographer called
Cal
. Jake cannot get a regular girlfriend and everyone he dates seems
to end up sleeping with one of his friends instead (even Lily!).
Cal
is a womaniser who wants to settle down with his girlfriend Emily.
Paulina
Porizkova is fantastic as the confident woman lawyer who seems to treat
others with an air of amused playfulness, manipulating people and
situations just to see what will happen.
It's
marketed with the tag line "A sex comedy with a twist".
But I'm not sure that's very fair.
