ANYONE IN IT WE KNOW?

This is a Spanish production in English.  Some of the stars may be better known in their native countries but not internationally known.

WHAT’S IT ABOUT THEN?

Set in the near future in 2018. A man called Dante (William Miller) is being transported to a Prison Camp in an Immigration Containment Zone in Southern Spain .  On the way during an exercise rest break he manages to escape and is pursed by a guard and his Rottweiler dog.

Dante kills the guard who gives his dog a dying command to track down and kill Dante.  Dante then flees across the Spanish hills and countryside relentlessly pursued by the seemingly indestructible dog that has glowing eyes and machine enhanced physiology.

During the chase we see flashbacks that show how Dante came to be in this situation.

It's not too bad - some reasonably exciting moments and interesting enough story. The origin of the dog never seems to be properly explained.  Whether it is unique or if all guard dogs in the future are like this isn't clear.

The special effects are not cutting edge but are good enough to tell the story.

Overall, it's not a must-see thriller but is good enough to hold interest if you chance upon it.
