Terry
(Terry Scott) and June (June Whitfield) are the archetypal middle class
middle aged married couple and had previously played much the same role
in early seventies sitcom Happy Ever After - here Terry is somewhat
bumptious and accident prone (if something can go wrong it will go wrong
for Terry - episode one sees his new company car stolen) and works in
the city doing something unspecified in middle management whilst June is
the archetypal harassed housewife.
Undeniably
safe and sometimes twee Terry and June still offers up plenty of laughs,
mainly down to Terry not grasping the right end of the stick and coming
unstuck with his grand ideas.
