ANYONE IN IT WE KNOW?

Yogi Bear, Boo Boo,

WHAT’S IT ABOUT THEN?

The first break-out superstar of the Hanna-Barbera canon, a genuine show business icon, and smarter than the average bear, The Yogi Bear Show: The Complete Series 4-Disc Collector's set features all 35 remastered and restored episodes from the entire series.

It's hard to believe there were only 32 episodes proper of The Yogi Bear Show, he seems to have been part of our national psyche for ever, Yogi had actually begun as a segment on the Huckleberry Hound show in 1958 but quickly progressed to his own show.
Each episode of the series runs the same pretty much but thats part of the enjoyment of course, like Huckleberry, the Yogi show also featured secondary cartoons, there were Snagglepuss the pink lion and the cute little duck Yankee Doodle.

The final episode acts as something of a party with appearances from Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw and many other Hanna Barbera characters.
Yogi Bear is easily one of the most enjoyable of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons and this wonderfully packaged set is well worth snapping up.

ANY SPECIAL FEATURES?

Time capsule Yogi is a chance to see the original pilot; Cartoon Tracks: The Art of Hanna-Barbera Sound looks at the audio effects used by the guys; Stills Gallery Come To Life is a set of never before seen animation sketches; Yogi Gets Global sees a Yogi Bear episode translated into a variety of languages.
