WHAT’S
IT ABOUT THEN?
It's 6 years since Martin Lawrence first donned the fat suit to play the pudding loving grandma, the first movie was a surprise hit
so a follow up was a no brainer but is 6

years too long to wait?
Lawrence plays FBI agent Malcolm Turner who has retired from active duty and is working a desk, not only that, he is now
married and about to become a father for the first time but when one of his mentors is murdered Malcolm decides to go
undercover as Big Momma - getting a job as a Nanny in the home of the main suspect.
Big Momma has a huge amount of slapstick and plenty of moments that get you laughing, plotwise its like a mash up of Uncle
Buck, Mission Impossible and Madame Doubtfire especially as Turner starts to grow closer to the kids the longer he is in the house.

While its not going to go down as one of the great movies of the early 21st century it is worth bearing in mind for a rainy day
winter weekend.
