On
his way driving into the city
his window is wiped by a young
street lad and he takes pity on
the boy and saves him from
police arrest. The boy is an
Albanian illegal immigrant and
the protagonist gets heavily
involved in his plight trying to
help him get back home as he
imparts some of his wisdom to
the orphan showing compassionate
concern for the boy's welfare.
All
throughout this selfless
endeavour he has flashbacks to
earlier times in his life when
he was happy with his late wife
Anna although he plays his
current self in the flashbacks
whilst everyone else is young.
The film title comes from
something she says in one of
these flashbacks when he asks
her how long tomorrow lasts.
Is
It Any Good? It has to be said
it is a bit slow moving and
pedestrian and consequently
drags a bit with its 2 hour
running time. The flashback
scenes are somehow more
entertaining than the main story
in actual fact as they feature
more lively characters.
