hot wheels acceleracers 4 the ultimate race- The Memorable TV DVD Review

Kurt devises a plan to rescue his captured brother Wylde, but the Teku and Metal Maniacs must work together to succeed, not an easy task after years of intense and bitter competition! To locate Wylde, the driving teams open the portal to the Cosmic Realm, a gravity-defying course of loops and leaps, and infiltrate the Racing Drones Headquarters.

But opening this portal proves to be a fateful mistake when Gelorum gains access to the Acceledrome and steals the AcceleChargers. As the Teku and Metal Maniacs race to save Wylde, Gelorum uses the the AcceleChargers to speed towards the final finish line to become the one and only AcceleRacer ...unless Vert can stop her first.

THE VERDICT

This is the fourth (and final) movie of the Hot Wheels Acceleracers animated series and despite being totally geared around a toy range features some fantastic moments, completely computer generated and featuring some 26 "realms" (basically race tracks), many of which Kurt has to negotiate to rescue his brother and all of which have dangers to navigate .

Following on from the Highway 35 Hot Wheels series this has been an entertaining series and The Ultimate Race makes for a great climax.
