THE
VERDICT
Gedeon
Burkhard makes a great new foil
for Rex, he actually came on the
scene in episode 50 following
the departure of Richard Moser,
the 12 episodes in this set are
also well upto standard, if
you've only seen the shorts for
Inspector Rex you maybe
surprised at how gritty it
actually is, there's multiple
murder in a variety of gruesome
ways (including someone getting
stabbed in the throat with a car
key), prostitution, drugs and
all manner of well dodgy
characters but the plots are
strong and the main characters
very likeable.
With
series 6 to follow hot on the
heels of this season five
release the series shows no sign
of wearing out its welcome any
time soon.
