THE
VERDICT
Every decade seems to spring one or two truly exceptional, stand the test of time sketch shows, the seventies gave us Monty Python and the
Goodies, the 80's The Young Ones and the whole new wave of British comedy whilst in the nineties there was Oasis and Blur.
Of course the noughties has sprung up such delights as The League of Gentlemen and now Little Britain. Matt Lucas and David Walliams are two
of the most perverse people working in TV today, the characters they create almost all have that same "can I really believe what I'm watching"
quality.
There
are plenty of new characters on display include a well dodgy mail order bride and the soon to be married man who is still being breast fed by his mother ("I want bitty" is sure to haunt your nightmares) as well as such old favourites as Lou and Andy, Marjorie and the Fat Fighters club, Sebastian Love and the Prime Minister,Dafyd, the only gay in the village and trash-talk teenager Vicky Pollard.
