of the never seen Robin and Magnum worked in conjunction with Master's
fastidious British butler Higgins. Also heavily involved are Magnum's
best friends TC a helicopter pilot and bar owner Rick, both had been in
Vietnam with Magnum and its their experiences together during the war
that opens up the third season with the dramatic and exciting feature
length "Did You See The Sunrise" this sees the trio having to
tangle with an old Colonel who is out to kill them. One
of the really good things about the show is the way it is happy to play
with the conventions of the genre and offer up surprises such as the
episode Flashback which sees Magnum somehow trapped in the year 1936;
Also this season features a great cross over with fellow detective
series Simon and Simon (now there's another great series deserving of a
DVD release and hopefully sometime soon) (the
