As the whales dive over 2 kilometers below the surface, the landscape of the deep comes vividly to life – impossibly deep canyons, underwater volcanoes and the highest and longest mountain ranges on Earth. The whale takes us on a rollercoaster ride – from the towering ancient spires of the Lost City, to massive undersea canyons and huge fields of black smokers.

Dinosaurs series, using a mixture of natural footage and amazing CGI the story of this amazing creature is brought to life, travelling back in time to 1929 when the Bull sperm whale is just two years and as he grows we follow him, over the course of two episodes, down the years as he experiences joys and tragedies of a life lived in one of the most extreme environments on Earth.
