As
always a huge amount of care has
been taken with the presentation
of the set, these box sets look
like DVD Box sets are supposed
to look like in our opinion,
uniform (not changing their mind
every five minutes like some
companies we could mention),
Umbrella's Grant Taylor deserves
singling out for his expansive
and always illuminating sleeve
notes and as always the level of
extras put together is
breathtaking, the Saint was
always one of the better Lew
Grade series, mainly down to the
comfortable playing of Roger
Moore, always ready with a
twinkle in his eye to save the
day.
This
set also includes the two
theatrical features put together
from Saint Episodes, they were
The Fiction Makers and Vendetta
For The Saint - these have been
very seldom seen over the years
so its great to have them uncut
and remastered. If you have even
the slightest passing interest
in the Golden age of Television
then you will know that the
Saint releases have to be marked
down as essential.
