ANYONE IN IT WE KNOW?

Ray Winstone, Suranne Jones, Ian Puleston-Davies, Joe Absolom

WHAT’S IT ABOUT THEN?

Ray Winstone is back channelling his East End hard nut vibe in superlative tec drama Vincent seen recently on the ABC and now available on DVD from Roadshow; Ray plays private investigator Vincent Gallagher who with his marriage to Cathy (Eva Pope) down the pan (in fact Cathy is involved in a new

relationship with Vincent's rival - copper David Driscoll (the brilliant Philip Glenister), is trying to make his business a success.

Working alongside of Vincent are his team of fellow PD's including Beth (ex Coronation Street star Suranne Jones), John (the excellent Ian Puleston-Davies of Funland fame) and young newbie Robert (Joe Absolom). There are four feature length stories across the two discs in the set and Vincent's first case is a particularly raw one, still smarting at losing his wife he is asked to look into a wife's suspected infidelity and as the episodes progress Vincent reveals a disturbing trait of getting personally involved with his cases.

Written by Stephen Butchard (who also worked with Winstone on Lenny Blue) Vincent is a strong drama shot with a high gloss feel and plenty of moody

lightning, the high quality cast also go a long way to adding to the enjoyment factor, as always anything with the brilliant Ray Winstone in is worth a look and Vincent definitely gets the Memorable TV seal of approval.
