WHAT’S IT ABOUT THEN?

John Beckwith (Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vaughn) are a pair of divorce brokers who spend their weekends crashing weddings to try and score with as many women as possible, determined to obey the rules of wedding crashing and to avoid long term

romantic entanglements the pair come unstuck when they crash the wedding of the biggest nuptials of the year, the wedding of the eldest daughter of the US Secretary of Treasury (Christopher Walken), John falls heavily for middle daughter Rachel McAdams whilst Jeremy has a fling with youngest daughter Isla Fisher who turns out to be a stage five clinger.
The pair find themselves invited to spend the weekend at the Secretary's estate where thingsd take a turn for the farcical.
At its heart Wedding Crashers is a romcom masquerading as French Farce, there are plenty of amusing moments though, especially in the first third of the film which shows the boys crashing a ton of weddings and proving to be the lives of the party.

The leads are actually not that likeable and both seem to be coasting on their buddy boy persona and most enjoyment comes from the suporting cast, with a surprising turn from Jane Seymour as the man eating wife of Walken and Isla Fisher's role as the stage five clinger actually brings about the most laughs.
You do know where the movie is headed right from the get go but if you are a fan of the boys then you will more than likely get a kick out of this.

Any Special Features?

Extras include deleted scenes with optional commentary from director David Dobkin (who also provides an audio commentary for the whole movie, as do Wilson and Vaughn, and is under the impression that his movie is the funniest thing ever commited to celluloid), there are also a couple of behind the scenes featurettes.
