EB Whites much loved and classic novel is given the babe treatment in this totally enchanting live action updating. Dakota Fanning plays young Fern who rescues little runt of the pig litter Little Wilbur from certain death, Wilbur then moves into the barn with all the other animals (cue lots of humour as the irrepressible and very cute Wilbur tries to make friends with the crotchety and set in their ways animals (lots of well known names contribute voices including the likes John Cleese as a sheep and Oprah Winfrey as a Goose).

Wilbur's life changes for ever when he meets and makes friends with extra ordinary spider Charlotte (voiced by Julia Roberts). 

A lovely family movie that for a refreshing change is actually suitable for the entire family, one of those leave you with a feel good feeling kind of movie.

This new paramount region 4 release means we are the first in the world to get the DVD, perfect timing for Easter and must see over the holidays.
