comedy drama series. Stories of
the permanently optimistic
Larkin family in an ever sunny
1950's. For a time the show was
amazingly popular and made a
star out of Zeta Jones who
garnered as much newspaper space
as a Royal.
The
Darling Buds of May was a
phenomenally popular show of the
early 1990's based on the rural
books of H.E. Bates, David Jason
starred as the 'Perfick' Pop
Larkin and the show also made a
star of Catherine Zeta Jones as
Mariette Larkin. Darling Buds
though filmed on location in
Pluckley was actually made by
Yorkshire.

Charley by Pop) quickly becomes
