Drama serial. Sequel to A Bouquet of Barbed Wire. Six months after his daughter Prue died giving birth Peter Manson is still struggling to come to terms with his loss, Prue's husband Gavin is also find it hard coping with bringing up his baby daughter. Peter's wife Cassie meanwhile is actually involved in an affair with Gavin; Peter is no innocent either his long term affair with his secretary Sarah is still going on, events are destined to come to a head. The series was repeated twice on terrestrial TV (1. ITV / 9 Sep - 4 Nov 1978 and 2. Channel 4 / 4 June - 16 July 1983)

THE EPISODES

1. CHANGES (Broadcast: Friday 7 Jan 1977 @ 9.00pm) 

It's six months since the events that occured in A Bouquet of Barbed Wire Peter Manson is still struggling to come to terms with the detah of his beloved daughter Prue (who died giving birth to her daughter Eve), Peter's wife Cassie is helping to care for the baby and Prue's husband Gavin is also having problems accepting the baby.

2. TENSIONS (Broadcast: Friday 14 Jan 1977 @ 9.00pm)

Peter Manson is involved in a long term affair with his secretary Sarah whilst his wife Cassie is struggling with her feelings for son in law Gavin and is jealous when he seems to have a new friend called Vicky.

3. ACCUSATIONS (Broadcast: Friday 21 Jan 1977 @ 9.00pm)

Peter is beginning to think that something is going on between his wife and Gavin and is determined to uncover the truth, Gavin meanwhile meets Sarah for the first time.

Peter takes drastic action and kidnaps baby Eve but is surprised by Sarah's reaction.

Peter is home and apparantly determined to get on with life, planning a holiday but Vicky who feels she has been sidelined has plans of her own, Sarah meanwhile wants to get back with her husband Geoff.
