UK /BBC1 / 10x15 minute episodes / 2006 Monday 8 May - 

An anthology series of dramas for BBC Daytime. The writers of the 15-minute dramas had their scripts developed with well-known mentors including Willy Russell;Tony Jordan; Russell T Davies;William Ivory; and Andrew Davies. The casts included Ralf Little, Keith Barron, Frances Barber and Imogen Stubbs.

Julie is a single mother and a checkout girl with a completely undedicated boyfriend. She’s fast approaching her 30th birthday and finds a tape of her 16-year-old self dreaming up great plans for love and life.What will it take to put her life back on track?

Dorothy has spent six months trying to help Steve get over a girlfriend who left him.When he loses his job, however, he becomes unbearable. Just when it seems things can’t get any worse, Dorothy insists on taking Steve shopping for a new love.

3. LIFE'S LIKE THAT (Broadcast Wednesday 10 May @ 2.35pm)

Writer: Ishy Din 

When Edith Knight comes into some money, she confides in her neighbour Margaret, but it doesn’t take long for her nephew, Walter, and his greedy wife Jackie and son Horace, to begin circling. Edith, however, isn’t quite as guileless as she appears and has the last laugh.

A story of three women dealing with loss at different times of life.Through an uncanny sequence of events their lives briefly collide and they are surprised to discover that good can come from loss.

5. HOT OR NOT (Broadcast Friday 12 May @ 2.35pm)

Fifteen-year-old David and his friend Teddy learn that relationships are more complicated than computers, and even though he doesn’t feature in beautiful Danielle’s plans, all is not totally lost for David.
