Black Sails VI (Starz 1 Mar 2014, with Louise Barnes)
In Black Sails VI Flint and his crew are still aboard the Andromache trying to get Bryson and his men out of the hold before the arrival of The Scarborough quite literally scuppers their plans.
Billy has discovered a letter on board from Barlow that Guthrie has arranged to be delivered for her to the authorities in Boston. It’s part of her plan to make a new life for herself and Flint in America . It reveals that Flint is ready to repent and basically turn traitor – Flint is planning to do no such thing of course but to Billy it’s a clear sign that Flint has to go.
Meanwhile the slaves on board are plotting a revolution which is the catalyst for Flint finally getting at Bryson – its a short, brutal and bloody battle. In the aftermath and under attack from The Scarborough Billy is swept overboard.
Back on the island if Eleanor wants the consortium to work she really has no choice but to give in to Hornigold’s demand to allow Vane back in. It’s a tangled web though because she knows she needs to be free of Vane’s men (he only has 8 of them left) if she has any chance of getting Max back. Anne Bonny agrees and a plan is hatched to put them out of commission once and for all.
