Last weeks opening episode was a complete headspin, you could not look away for even a second at times though the overt noir meets Bladerunner filming was a little hard to take. So far Daniel Demoys doesn’t have one even slightly likeable quality.

By the end of the first episode we know that he has killed property developed Pulis and that prostitute Sylvie saw him do it. Meanwhile Pulis’s daughter Ruth is determined to make sure the police get to the bottom of who killed her father and Demoys himself is pushing ahead with plans to become Mayor.
