In The Golden Road Merroney needs to convince the board of the validity of the Tehran project but it is 4 against 2 in favour of turning down the project. Can Merroney use his “people” skills to turn them around to his own way of thinking – Brian though is determined to make sure that for once things don’t go Merroney’s way.
Meanwhile David finally asks Jane to marry him unfortunately for him she makes it plain that she could never see him more than anything as a friend. Could this clear the way for the resumption of her relationship with Brian.
As usual Merroney manages to get his way with Bill Riley rallying to the cause to sell the idea of the Tehran project but it looks like April is getting well and truly fed up with his business first antics.
