Legal drama series following the cases of a trio of a lawyers, who together made up the firm of Nichols, Darrell and Darrell; The ageing Walter Nichols had decided to take a chance on young brothers Brian and Neil Darrell and it was their blend of youth and experience that meant they were soon tackling some big cases.

Of the brothers Brian was straight down the middle whilst Neil was always willing to take a chance if it meant getting the right result. Walter became something of a father figure to them both and the series itself was one of the rotating elements that made up The Bold Ones; The other in this umbrella series were The New Doctors and The Protectors.
