The first of Netflix’s quartet of Marvel adaptation will premiere on the streaming network on 10 April. The 13 episode series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock who might be a lawyer by day but by night is New York City based Super Hero Daredevil.
In the dark edged series Murdock’s powers revolve around his heightened senses which after being blinded as a child enable him to “see” just as well as anybody.
The cast also includes Vincent D’Onofrio (who plays Wilson Fisk), Rosario Dawson (as Claire Temple), Deborah Ann Woll (as Karen Page) and Elden Henson (as Foggy Nelson).
The series is excutive produced and show-run by Steven S. De Knight and Drew Goddard. It’s one of four new Marvel series that will make their debut on Netflix. The others are A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage. The plan is that all four will then team up for a series called The Defenders.
