In the season opener Pilot (despite all first episodes seemingly being called Pilot this work works well for a series about flying!) Dean, having been given promotion, has to fly the Clipper Majestic on it’s first New York to London Flight. Bridget, who is supposed to head stewardess for the trip hasn’t turned up leaving purser Maggie having to fill in for her.

Meanwhile unbeknownst to everyone stewardess Kate is actually working for US Intelligence and is none too pleased to discover that her newly qualified stewardess sister Laura will also be on the flight.
