In The Man Who Didn’t Eat Sweets Julia Meadows asks Frank to look into whether her husband Eddie is having an affair. Eddie is quite a bit older than Julia and he works away for much of the week.
Frank tracks Meadows to Northampton where he is staying at a boarding house. It turns out that Eddie has another wife – she actually owns the boarding house. However there is more – Eddie also only stays with Mrs Meadows number 2 before moving on… to number 3.
Gareth Thomas makes a small appearance as car dealer Briggs. He is Frank’s go to man if he needs to hire a car during this season. There is also a small appearance from a young Colin Baker.
