It’s another double bill of episodes for the new series of Trial and Error, could be that NBC want us to get double the joy from the series or it could that they don’t hold much faith in the series and want to get it over an done with as quick as possible.
In first episode The Other Man (at 9.00pm), after coming up bust on a match to the DNA found in Larry’s (John Lithgow) bedroom, Josh (Nicholas D’Agosto) and his team discover a “sex print” on the wall that leads to a shocking new suspect. Meanwhile, Josh gets sloppy and inadvertently gives a piece of damning evidence to the Prosecution. Jayma Mays, Sherri Shepherd, Steven Boyer and Krysta Rodriguez also star.
Then in An Unwelcome Distraction (9.30pm) when the new suspect turns up in a coma, Josh (Nicholas D’Agosto) becomes sidetracked trying to solve this crime, eventually becoming a suspect himself. Meanwhile, prosecutor Carol Anne Keane (Jayma Mays) presents Margaret Henderson’s autopsy report that reveals Larry’s (John Lithgow) wife was struck by a blunt object, leading to a frantic search for the murder weapon. Sherri Shepherd, Steven Boyer and Krysta Rodriguez also star.
