Moody And Pegg: She – The Diplomat (ITV 5 Aug 1974)
In She: The Diplomat Roland and Daphne have been living together for a week and despite getting on quite well are still keen to see the back of each other, however advice of various kinds lead both of them to realise that the grass may not be greener on the other side.
By the end of the episode the pair have decided that things may just be fine as they are – if Daphne can tolerate Moody not cutting the rind off the bacon anyway. There are lots of funny touches too from estate agent Mrs Bakewell clearly having the hots for Moody to Tony Selby’s Sid and his comments about having been everywhere and done everything “I’ve done it all me”.
