To
celebrate the region 4 release by MRA Entertainment of classic
documentary Punk in England, we have five copies to give away.
Back in the late
seventies German film maker Wolfgang Buld set out to document the punk Phenomenon
that took England (and most of Europe) by storm from 1976. Following
on from the Award Winning 'Punk in London', came the post-punk
apocalypse - Punk in England.
The second part in Wolfgang Buld's Trilogy records the movement of punk
into the suburbs and its creative explosion into the new wave, ska, mod
and rude boy music.
This is not a new, retrospective film: it is punk's adrenalin rush into
a brave new world as it actually happened in the late 70's.
Featuring performances from 'The Clash', 'The Pretenders', 'Madness' and
much, much more this is a must see for fans of punk both new and old.
