| The
clock has already started ticking for the thrilling sixth season of 24.
"Day 6" will start with a four-hour, two-night season premiere
on Sunday, Jan. 14 and Monday, Jan. 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
24,
last season’s most Emmy-nominated television series, is one of the
most innovative, addictive and acclaimed dramas on television. In its
first five seasons, the suspenseful series has been nominated for a
total of 51 Emmys, including five for Outstanding Drama Series and five
for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Kiefer Sutherland. Last
season also garnered Emmy nominations for supporting actors Jean Smart
and Gregory Itzin.
Created
by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, 24 retains its unpredictable and
unique format in the highly anticipated sixth season. Each episode
covers one hour of real time, and the season's entire story takes place
in one heart-stopping day, so that viewers again can follow characters
as they experience an unforgettable day facing extraordinary
circumstances.
Season six picks up 20 months after last season’s shocking season
finale , when JACK BAUER (Kiefer Sutherland) was captured by Chinese
government agents – battered, bloodied and headed for points
unknown. |

| This
season opens with WAYNE PALMER (DB Woodside), the strong-minded brother

KAREN HAYES (Jayne Atkinson) and THOMAS LENNOX (Peter MacNicol) – as
well as CTU colleagues CHLOE O’BRIAN (Mary Lynn Rajskub), CURTIS
MANNING (Roger Cross) and BILL BUCHANAN (James Morrison) – begin an
unthinkable nail-biting day.
24, created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran, is a production of Real
Time Productions and Imagine Television in association with 20th Century
Fox Television. Joel Surnow, Robert Cochran, Howard Gordon, Evan Katz,
