THE ITV DRAMA COLLECTION

To celebrate the region 2 release by ITV DVD of three of their much loved period dramas, Far From the Madding Crowd, Tess of the Durbervilles and Wuthering Heights, we have one copy of each to give away.

Adapted for television from the work of literary giants Thomas Hardy and Emily Brontë, these fantastic classics boast a host of stars.

Thomas Hardy's Tess of the D'Urbervilles is a stunning production of Thomas Hardy's 19th century love story. This breathtaking television drama adaptation stars Justine Waddell (Dracula 2000, Mansfield Park) as Tess Durbeyfield, Jason Flemying (Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrells) as Alex D'Urbervilles, Oliver Milburn (Green Wing) as Angel Clare.

This classic tale of a peasant girl's life, torn apart by the love and jealousy of two men was filmed principally in Dorset, using many of the authentic locations featured by Hardy in the book.

Far From The Madding Crowd, stars Paloma Baeza (The Way We Live Now) as Bathsheba Everdene, Nathaniel Parker (The Inspector Lynley Mysteries) as Gabriel Oak, Nigel Terry as Mr Boldwood and Jonathan Firth (Ghost Whisperer) as Sergeant Frank Troy. A story of passion and destruction in the 19th Century - Bathsheba Everdene is an impulsive flighty and bewitching young woman with a fiercely independent nature who ensnares, and almost destroys the lives of three men.

Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, starS Matthew Macfadyen (Pride and Prejudice), Peter Davison (Doctor Who), Sarah Smart (Jane Hall) and Tom Georgeson (Bleak House). Nothing is known of Heathcliffe's past when Mr Earnshaw adopts him into his own family, but his daughter Cathy recognises a similar soul. They are divided by birth, class and by Cathy's jealous brother, but nothing can break the bond between them, not even when Cathy marries the wealthy and gentle Edgar Linton.
