MURPHY'S LAW
ABC / Fridays @ 8.30pm

Traditionally James Nesbitt has been one of those dare we say it nice actors, typified by his role in Cold Feet but Murphy's Law is his chance to kick against his type casting, here he is the tough DI Tommy Murphy who is more than willing to break the rules to get results.

ABC is currently showing season three on Fridays at the moment. In The Group showing 20 April @ 8.30pm three murderers are murdered. All three have been named in a campaign run by a support group for relatives of murder victims. Is it a coincidence or is this a killer-killer taking revenge?

With a carefully constructed cover story, Murphy (James Nesbitt) joins the group, but he's forced to face his demons when the true story of his own daughter's death surfaces.

After all these years the identity of the man who murdered her has come to light. The genie is out of the bottle - Murphy has a job to do. He has to catch the killer-killer, but he is also faced with the possibility of being able to exact revenge on the man who slit his daughter's throat.
