THE GREATEST TV SHOWS OF THE NOUGHTIES

UK / Channel 4 - Mono Television - Princess Productions / 1x95 minute episode / Broadcast 27 December 2009 @ 9.00pm

Producer: Dean Doherty / Executive Producer: Gary Monaghan

Narrated by the already ubiquitous James Corden this is actually a great celebration of the best TV of the decade, Channel 4 polled a whole range of different people on what were the hits and misses of the decade.

Looking back its been a big TV decade, the return of Dr Who (surely bigger than it has ever been), the brilliance of shows like Life on Mars and The Wire, the end of Friends and Frasier and the onward march of Reality TV (a bit like Hitler's progress across Europe really) marked by the rise and fall of Big Brother. Not only that but variety, thanks to Simon Cowell and his control of The X-Factor, is back with a vengeance.

There are contributions from the likes of John Simm, David Tennant, Jeremy Clarkson, Louis Walsh and Kevin McLeod reveals why Top Gear gives him nightmares.

The full list will follow after the show airs.
