Pre-school fun with The Hooley Dooleys, a trio for whom songs, fun and games (often with an educational slant) are never far away…. The Hooley Dooley’s have never quite achieved that sort of Wiggles fever that the pre-school fab four have managed, there is no massive range of Hooley Dooley’s merchandise nor are their individual names on the tip of every toddler tongue but their brand of educational songs and skits are easily the equal of The Wiggles. Like The Wiggles The Hooley’s (David Butts, Antoine Dearest and Bruce Thorburn) are also assisted by furry friends, The HD’s have the strange Tickle the Doodat and Russell the Kangeroo. There are 35 songs on this collection ranging from their theme tune We Are The Hooley Dooleys (this is the one seen at the start of almost all ABC Kids DVD’s and Videos) to Splashing in Puddles to Jumping Castle . The sets are on the minimal side but the emphasis is firmly on fun.
