JIM'LL FIX IT UK / BBC / x45m-e / 1973-89 Long running entertainment show in which mostly kid's wishes were granted (although plenty of adults appeared too). Presented by white haired, cigar smoking, marathon running disco jockey Sir Jimmy Saville. Mostly the fix its were of the variety of meeting soccer stars or film stars although some eccentric ones crept through such as the girl who appeared in an episode of Terry and June and a boy who became a butler for a day. The show had a a different open and closing theme.
