Animated scifi drama series. Caring 14 year old Tsukino Usagi is given special powers that transform her into Sailor Girl fighting evil and the like, later she is joined by other sailor girls and also Sailor Sashi (warriors) who help Sailor in her battles. The series is part of an anime genre called Magical Girls. The series is also known as Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.

SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU?

Spooky comedy drama animation. The tales of a group of teens and their Great Dane dog Scooby as they travelled around in their 'Mystery Machine' camper van getting involved in mysteries. At the villains unmasking he would always announce "If it wasn't for those pesky kids I would've gotten away with it". The show was originally going to be called The Mysterious Five but the title changed after the creators heard Frank Sinatra singing Strangers in the Night especially the Scoobie Doobie Doo fade out. A Live action version with Sarah Michelle Geller and Freddie Prinze Jr  was released in 2002 featuring a completely CGI Scooby. The gang have featured in many series (all basically the same).

A spooky anthology series with opening and closing credits of a  suitably spooky nature,  an atmosphere was created in the show 
which communicated mystery as much as the storylines and acting. A pre Blake's 7 Gareth Thomas appeared in one playing a teacher at a school, who loses his temper with two boys who decide they want to take their revenge on him. Another  episode involved a white dress from the 19th century that was apparently cursed.

When they come to life she finds out she is the "Chosen One" and has to embark on a quest to find an ancient book of immense magical power for Michael Scot who is a centuries old wizard. Dogging her every move is the sinister shape-shifting Toledo who also wants the book.
