Animated misadventures of racing driver Tom Slick who, with his girlfriend Marigold, tangled with various bad guy racers like Baron Otto Matic. This was a show within a show appearing as part of George of the Jungle.

TOM'S MIDNIGHT GARDEN

UK fantasy period drama serial about a young boy who discovers a magical garden when a grandfather clock strikes thirteen. Based on the novel by Phillippa Pearce it has been dramatised three times by the BBC, 1968, 1974 and 1989. The 1989 (4 January - 8 February) version starred Jeremy Rapling as Tom and Caroline Waldron as Hatty.

 

TOM TOM

Entertainment show presented by Jeremy Carrad and John Earle. One interesting aspect of the show was highlights of Grand Prix races but with the twist that they were performed using scalextric tracks.

Animated sitcom. Exploits of a group of New York alley cats especially their luxury customised dustbin dwelling leader TC. The gang of cats were always getting into scrapes and falling foul of their nemesis Officer Dibble. The show is a clever reworking of the Sgt Bilko set up. In the UK it was re-titled as BOSS CAT because there was a pet food brand called Top Cat.

The show was about two  tug fleets, the Star Fleet and the Z Stacks, who compete against each other in the Bigg City Port during the 1920s. The Star Fleet are honourable and hard-working, the Z-Stacks are underhanded and devious.
