ULYSSES 31

USA / 26x25m-e / 1985

Scifi adventure series. The Greek classic adapted into the space age. The series told the story of Ulysses and his crew, on their spaceship Odyssey, as they attempted to return to their Earth home.  

 

THE UNCLE FLOYD SHOW

USA / Channel 68 in West Orange and then on WNBC-TV (NYC Channel 4) and national syndication on the NBC-TV / x30m-e / 1974-87

A show generally seen on New Jersey cable channels but with some syndication success during the early 1980's. . Wearing a porkpie hat, wild plaid jacket and a bow tie, Uncle Floyd tinkled the ivory of his upright piano; sang such classics as "Deep in the Heart of Jersey" and told burlesque style jokes with the assistance of his cute hand puppet, Oogie (a Kukla look-alike). Uncle Floyd was really Floyd Vivino. 

 

UNCLE JACK

Comedy drama series. Two children have adventures with their archaeologist Uncle Jack. Each of the shows four seasons had individual titles, these were, 1.UNCLE JACK AND OPERATION GREEN, 2.UNCLE JACK AND THE LOCH NESS MONSTER, 3.UNCLE JACK AND THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, 4.UNCLE JACK AND CLEOPATRA'S MUMMY.

UNDERDOG

Animated canine capers about superhero Underdog who when he wasn't superheroing was the raher mild Shoeshine Boy. Most of underdog's exploits seemed to consist of him having to save beautiful Polly Purebred from the clutches of the roguish Simon Bar Sinister.  Voice of Underdog was by Wally Cox.

Scifi drama serial. A pair of twins with psychic abilities become embroiled in a plot to prevent an alien force destroying the planet.
