The story follows young Charlie and his friends Linus, Lucy, Violet and the rest of the Peanuts gang as they gear up to celebrate Christmas, the only problem is Charlie is not feeling much in the way of Christmas spirit, he hasn't got a single Christmas card. He decides a visit to Lucy for some psychiatric advice is in order and he also finds time to get involved with the neighborhood lights display and finds possibly the smallest Christmas tree in the world.
Blu-Ray and animation go together superbly well and A Charlie Brown Christmas looks quite superb. There is also so much nostalgia and a warm hearted tingle that you get from watching the gang that you can't but help get caught up in their shenanigans whether you be 4 or 84! The released also features another festive story It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown which sees the gang taking part in a Christmas pageant and Charlie embarking on a new short career selling wreaths door to door.
