Volume five of the Catherine Cookson Collection gathers together all of the Mallen episodes (in a four disc set) and to celebrate their arrival on DVD we have five copies for you to win!
Starring John Hallam, John Duttine, Juliet Stevenson and Gerry Sundquist, The Mallens are headed up by patriarch Thomas Mallen whose ruthless streak (personified by the lock of white hair that comes to be known as The Mallen Streak) lets nothing or anyone stand in his way. Mallen and his many illegitimate offspring are also said to carry a curse with them that sees them destined to meet a violent end. It is the Mallen women though who have to pick up the pieces.
Fabulous stories very well told, this is British drama at its best.
