George (Brian Roper) and Mildred (Yootha Joyce) are now well settled in the heart of Suburbia, living at 46 Peacock Crescent, Hampton Wick, even if their neighbour Jeffrey Fourmile is still decidedly unhappy about the fact. Yootha desperately wants to keep up with the Jones and escape her working class background. She thinks Tea with the vicar is the very essence of having made it. Meanwhile George is only happy when he is tinkering with his motorcycle and sidecar!
Always very funny, this fifth season of George and Mildred is a great slice of fun and laughter.
