Ricky Gervais makes his starring movie debut in the fabulolusly funny Ghost Town, released on DVD and Blu-Ray on the 2 July by Paramount, we have five copies for you to get your hands on.
In this romantic comedy Gervais plays New York dentist Bertram Pincus who after being pronounced dead during a surgical procedure is pronounced dead - but only for seven minutes! On his recovery he discovers that he now has the ability to see and communicate with dead people. As if that wasn't bad enough his problems really start when newly dead Frank Herlihy (played by Greg Kinnear, whose career seems to have undergone something of a revitilisation these days) persuades to help stop his wife Gwen (the lovely Tea Leoni) getting remarried. Only thing is of course is that hapless Bertram then falls heavily for Gwen himself.
Great fun and packed with extras including a trio of featurettes Ghost Town is top notch entertainment. Our competition runs until 30 July and to win a copy of the DVD all you have to do is tell us the name of the character that Gervais played in The Office.
