MONASH - THE FORGOTTEN ANZAC

Sir John Monash is one of the key figures of Australian wartime history, a brilliant General and one of the guiding lights behind the creation of Anzac Day. Major new drama documentary Monash - The Forgotten Anzac brings his career to amazing life and to celebrate its release on DVD we have five copies up for grabs.

Robert Menzies plays Monash and the production takes us both on the battlefield and off it to tell the unlikely story of this man who was actually from a German-Jewish background, something which caused major problems for him as he rose through the ranks. As he became commander of the Australian Corps, Monash was behind many a vital plan that saved not only countless senseless deaths but also advanced the allieds cause.

Our competition runs until 29 April 2009 and to win all you have to do is tell us what year Monash was born.
