Starring the fabulous pairing of Roger Moore and Tony Curtis as posh Brit Lord Brett Sinclair and rough diamond and self made millionaire Danny Wilde, the show sees the pair team up to tackle crime on the glossy continent (and when we say glossy continent we actually mean the studio backlot!) at the behest of Judge Fulton who thinks they make the ideal crime fighting duo.
It's a great looking, very expensive for the day slice of pure fabulousness that is every bit as enjoyable now as it was when it was made 30 odd years ago. One of the renowned ITC Action Adventure series (ITC was a company owned by legendary movie and TV mogul Lord Lew Grade who made numerous for the UK's ITV Network but always with one eye on a lucrative sale to US TV) that is much loved by aficianados. Packed full of extras that incllude a new feature length doco called The Morning After, audio commentaries, a promo film from Top of the Pops featuring the great John Barry theme tune and an appearance from the very sexy Pan's People, European promo slots, an episode of The Saint called The Ex-King of Diamonds (which is seen by many to be a tryout of the format of The Persuaders) and four feature length compilations of episodes which were seen in cinemas throughout the early 1970's.
