Adapted from the story by Edgar Rice Burroughs, The Land that Time Forgot is a sci-fi adventure set on an island of external ice and internal fire with a whole host of large creatures.
An English ship is torpedoed by a German submarine in 1916 with the English survivors taking over the sub. By chance they finally emerge at the island of Caprona somewhere in the Antarctic. Yet safety is only temporary as they soon find themselves faced with creatures that were thought to have been extinct for millions of years.
An adventure-filled fantasy for those with a lively disposition to believe in the possibility of the existence of legendary islands and roaming prehistoric beasts.
