Notes
Nick Drake's amazing, gorgeous
follow up to Five
Leaves Left, slightly more
upbeat than it's predecessor and
concerned more with city life
(Nick living in a London bedsit at
this point). The album contained
three instrumental tracks
(Introduction, Bryter Layter and
Sunday). Unfortunately the album
again failed to sell many copies
plunging Nick into a depression.
The mian reason for the albums
failure was probably due to Nick's
chronic shyness and unwillingness
to promote the songs (either by
interviews or going on the road
and playing live).
