Accent Originally from Yorkshire, where they were known as The Blue Blood Group, the Accent moved to London in 1966 and recorded a heavily psychedelic 45 (called Red Sky at Night on the Decca label) the following year having secured a residency at former champion boxer Billy Walker's Upper Cut Club. Rick Birkett later released a solo album on Blue Horizon as Rick Hayward and was also later in Jellybread and The Zombies. |
