KAVANAGH QC SERIES 3 AND 4

Not only happy catching the bad guys in classics like The Sweeney and Inspector Morse, John Thaw also liked to see them in court too as witnessed in his excellent series Kavanagh QC, series three and four of which have just been released in a spiffing 6 disc set by Time Life, to celebrate we have five copies to give away.

Thaw, one of the UK's best loved actors (and rightly so) plays James Kavanagh, a Queen's Council who has risen from a working class background to become one of the keenest defenders of justice in the country. Dispite having a highly successful career, Kavanagh's home life is somewhat chaotic and he tends to take solace in his love of sailing. Indeed in the fourth season of the show, included in this set, Kavanagh finds himself a widower following the shock death of his wife.

One of the things that makes Kavanagh so watchable, besides the presence of Thaw, is the very high level of quality in the scripts with contributions from such legends as Nigel Kneale, Malcolm Bradbury and Charles Wood (all three of whom are amongst the very best that TV has ever offered) The competition runs until 11 December and to win a copy of Kavanagh QC Series 3 and 4 all you have to do is tell us the name of the character played by Oliver Ford Davies in the series.
