Walking With Beasts is the equally thrilling sequel to Walking With Dinosaurs focusing on what happened in the aftermath of the dinosaurs demise, BBC DVD are bringing us this month a movie length version of the series and to celebrate we have five copies to give away.

The producers once again use state-of-the-art technology to re-create the "menagerie of weird and wonderful creatures" that roamed the globe after the dinosaurs. The death of the dinosaurs did not of course mean the demise of life on Earth…the bizarre beasts who followed adapted and evolved in the fiercest climate extremes the world had ever seen, becoming the forerunners of the animals we know today.

In this unique 90-minute presentation of Walking With Beasts, we watch them walk, hunt, breed and fight their way towards the rise of the mammals and mankind itself. Come face to face not just with the familiar woolly mammoth, but a five-foot long wolf-like creature who involves into the whale, a carnivorous pig and a horse no bigger than a cat. We also meet the ape-like humans – tree living and social but the favoured prey of saber-toothed cats with teeth the size of carving knives.
