It’s the biggest stumbling block networks face in enabling their shows to retain an audience. The slightest sign of a downtown in ratings and a show is either moved to a later time or a different day altogether. It creates something of a catch 22 as viewers lose faith and the ratings slip down further.
It’s a game Channel 10 are playing with hot new US show Empire with next Sunday night’s episode being pushed back an hour to 10.30pm with a repeat of NCIS in it’s place. Also everywhere but WA will get a double bill of episodes (who will get their double episode catch up on 26 April).
The episodes are The Lyon Roar and Unto the Reach.
